The licensing information are saved in the Key files, e.g. encrypted files in a hidden system folder. This could be in C:, D:, %AllUsersProfile%, depending on your setting. The unexpected reset of the license is possible, but the probability is very low (from statistics reported by our customers, many thousands of end users). Common issues such as the machine hardware change (without transferring license properly prior) will cause the system to detect different fingerprints. The license will be invalid. The system will ask the user to reactivate the license automatically. Uncommon and rare issues would be the Key files are modified or tampered accidentally by users or unknown programs. In these scenarios, the user will be asked to reactivate the license since the current one can't be validated.
